Senior Software Engineer, Infrastructure, Google Cloud Networking

Own and lead the roadmap for GKE Networking, driving the evolution of virtualization solutions that support tens of thousands of nodes and beyond. Design and develop high-performance networking solutions specifically optimized for large-scale model training, low-latency GPU communication, and autonomous agentic workloads. Lead the design of both data plane and control plane elements, pushing the boundaries of network connectivity, security, and service mesh technologies. Partner cross-functionally with GKE Platform and Cloud Networking teams to unify Google’s networking fabric.

Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages. 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture. 3 years of experience developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with Kubernetes, Go, or micro-services. Preferred qualifications: Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, or a related technical field. 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms. 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role. Experience with Linux networking stack. Experience developing accessible technologies.
