Group/Division With over 40 years of semiconductor process control experience, chipmakers around the globe rely on KLA to ensure that their fabs ramp next-generation devices to volume production quickly and cost-effectively. Enabling the movement towards advanced chip design, KLA's Global Products Group (GPG), which is responsible for creating all of KLA’s metrology and inspection products, is looking for the best and the brightest research scientist, software engineers, application development engineers, and senior product technology process engineers. The RAPID division is the world leading provider of reticle inspection solutions for the semiconductor industry. The company provides inspection solutions to both the mask shops and the semiconductor fabs to ensure that lithography yields are consistently high thus enabling cost-effective manufacturing. Job Description/Preferred Qualifications Join KLA's Reticle Product Division and play a key role in shaping the next generation of electronics platforms for advanced semiconductor metrology systems. We are seeking a hands-on Senior Electrical Hardware Engineer who can quickly assume ownership of ongoing electronics development projects, lead PCB redesign activities, and drive critical deliverables to production release. The successful candidate will bring deep practical experience in mixed-signal hardware development and be effective in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment with significant onsite interaction across engineering disciplines. In this role, you will drive complex electronics development initiatives from concept through production release while collaborating with internal engineering teams, external development partners, and suppliers. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with the ability to coordinate complex development activities, manage technical risks, and successfully execute projects in a highly interdisciplinary and international environment.
Responsibilities
Lead complex PCB redesign and electronics development projects from requirements definition through production release. Own the technical planning, execution, risk management, and tracking of electronics development activities. Define system and subsystem requirements for electronic assemblies and interfaces. Develop, review, and approve analog, digital, and mixed-signal electronic designs. Coordinate schematic development, PCB layout reviews, prototype builds, qualification activities, and manufacturing readiness. Collaborate with external design houses, suppliers, and manufacturing partners to ensure successful project execution. Drive root-cause investigations, verification, validation, and design optimization activities. Ensure compliance with applicable safety, EMC, and regulatory requirements. Create and maintain engineering documentation, manufacturing documentation, specifications, and test procedures. Collaborate closely with software, systems, mechanical,
