As IT for Global Drug Development (GDD), this position would be based out of our BMS Hyderabad you are part of the GDD data team that delivers automated solutions leveraging Generative AI, Data Science and analytics capabilities for Drug Development Document Generation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing & Developing Python applications in a Data intensive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with product managers and designers to understand project requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Design, implement, and fine-tune LLM-based solutions using Claude and other frontier models Build and manage prompt engineering pipelines, including system prompts, chain-of-thought frameworks, and few-shot examples. Build responsive, high-performance user interfaces using modern frameworks such as React.js. Develop intuitive AI-powered dashboards, chat interfaces, and data visualization components Customize and optimize model implementations through Constitutional AI techniques and advanced API integrations. Evaluate model performance, run A/B tests, and implement feedback loops for continuous improvement Stay up to date with the latest advancements in LLMs, foundation models, and generative AI trends. Architect and develop scalable backend services using Python (FastAPI, Django, Flask) and/or Node.js Design and maintain robust RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints supporting AI model integrations Implement secure authentication, authorization (OAuth 2.0, JWT), and role-based access control (RBAC) Manage and optimize databases including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers. Coaching and mentoring: Coaching and mentoring the development team on agile methodologies and best practices to ensure that they are continuously improving their skills and knowledge. Mentors other team members effectively to unlock full potential. Prior experience working in an Agile/Product based environment. Qualifications & Experience 4-8 Years experience required, with minimum 2 years in full stack. Strong understanding of front-end and back-end technologies, including - Python, flask, React.js, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and RESTful APIs. Experience with databases such as MySQL, Postgress, AWS Glue desired. Minimum one year of hands-on experience with frontier LLMs (Claude, GPT-4, Gemini, LLaMA). Prompt engineering — system prompts, chain-of-thought, few-shot & zero-shot techniques Fine-tuning models (LoRA, RLHF, instruction tuning) Building RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines Working with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar orchestration frameworks Experience with vector databases
