Jr. Supply Planner

As a Junior Supply Planner , you will provide operational and administrative support to the Materials Planning team through document control and logistics tracking of materials. You will support planning activities related to supplier management and inventory-at-risk administration. These activities will also involve the Quality Management System (QMS). Your role will ensure information integrity and compliance with internal processes. The ultimate goal is to support a thoughtful manufacturing operation. You will report to Planning Supervisor.

Validate document consistency among purchase orders, invoices, transportation documents, and customs documentation. Verify compliance with pricing, Incoterms, tax information, and import/export requirements to ensure adherence to established processes. Follow up on document discrepancies with suppliers and team members, supporting their resolution. You will maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation, ensuring information integrity and traceability. Provide support in tracking materials in transit, contributing to receipt and continuity of supply. Yo will a monitor domestic and international shipments, maintaining updated logistics and material status information. Communicate, and escalate supply risks and operational issues, supporting efforts to reduce business impacts. Prepare and update reports and goals related to logistics visibility, critical materials, inventory at risk, and departmental performance. Maintain current Quality Management System (QMS) documentation, including procedures, work instructions, process flowcharts, and audit support activities. Help manage excess, obsolete, and inventory-at-risk materials by participating in corrective actions, mitigation plans, and continuous improvement projects.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 1 year of experience in Supply Chain, Materials Planning, International Trade, Logistics, or related processes. Experience working with MRP systems (SAP or Oracle). Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets). Power BI knowledge is desirable. Understanding of inventory management and Supply Planning processes. Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and document control processes. Experience preparing reports and performing data analysis. Knowledge of process mapping and process documentation.
