The ideal candidate possesses strong desire to further their knowledge of analog electronics, power electronics, power systems or servo/motor control systems .  Raytheon radar analog and power design, product and production support engineering occurs in following areas: Power System Design - Power System Noise, System Simulation and Modeling, Solid State Transmitters, Tube Transmitters, High Voltage Design, Power Sources, Generators Power Conversion - AC/DC, DC/DC and DC/AC, Linear and Switching Supplies, Power Factor Correction (PFC), Zero Voltage Switching (ZVS), Resonant Circuits, Synchronization, Noise Controls Power Distribution - Ground, Air, Shipboard, and Space, Power Generation, Line Voltage, High Current, Low Voltage, Micro-Power, DC, AC, Multi-Phase Power Control, Fault Reporting, Isolation, Protection Circuits, Redundant Systems Power Sub-System Design - Filters, Harmonic Control, EMI, Circuit Simulation, Magnetics, Protective Relay Systems, Short Circuit and Stress Analyses Control Systems – Servo Control Systems, Motor/Power/Process Control, Digital Feedback Systems, Command Generation, Inertial Stabilization, Navigation Algorithms What You Will Do: Work closely with a team of engineers to d evelop designs based on requirements, operational specifications, and RTX guidelines Design, analyze, simulate, test, and document power conversion, analog circuitry, or servo/motor control systems Provide support to production, integration, and test activities  Gain exposure to analog, power, or motor/servo control engineering design Travel to Marlborough, MA; Andover, MA; Woburn, MA; and/or Pelham, NH may be required depending on the assignment.

Qualifications

You Must Have : Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Graduate degree majoring in Electrical Engineering, or related Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) major. Must have a minimum of 30 hours of credit by the start of the internship / co-op session .   Coursework in the following areas: Basic Circuit Theory, Signals and Systems, Physics: Electronics and Electromagnetism. Coursework in modeling and simulation using PSPICE, MATLAB/Simulink, or similar computer-based tools.

Qualifications

We Prefer: ABET is the preferred, although not required accreditation standard. 3.0 cumulative GPA desired. Coursework in Microcircuits, Semiconductor Device Theory, Power Electronics/Systems, Control Systems Hardware
