Under close supervision, performs functional duties for assigned division. Performs special projects as required. Erie Insurance offers interns the opportunity to gain experience in several different areas in our organization focused on Data and Analytics:

Preparation: Assist with the process of cleansing and preparing data prior to reporting and analytics. Reporting:  Assist with the creation of ad-hoc and recurring reports using appropriate programming languages, business intelligence tools and software tools. Analytics: Assist in conducting detailed analysis related to ERIE’s products and services using appropriate programming languages

Applications are accepted from college students currently enrolled at an accredited college or university to pursue a four-year degree or to complete a master's degree program full-time A four-year degree student should be completing sophomore, junior, or senior year (graduating in spring 2027 thru spring 2029) A minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 is highly preferred Candidates pursuing degrees in Mathematics, Data & Analytics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Computer Programming, MIS or related fields of study highly preferred.

Performs various tasks related to the achievement of division objectives. Conducts research and gathers information and assists in creating presentations as required. Analyzes data and reports findings. Verifies and enters data into appropriate system, and updates electronic files. Provides clerical and administrative support as needed. Completes special projects as required.
