About this role
The Aftermarket Portfolio Manager will drive the growth and profitability of the Aftermarket business, one of Honeywell Sundyne’s primary growth value drivers. This role leads the development and execution of a comprehensive Aftermarket strategic plan (STRAP). Key elements include driving improved customer capture rates, establishing innovative new service models and building an integrated asset management platform to deliver greater customer value, increase recurring revenue, and strengthen long-term competitive advantage in support of Sundyne’s strategic objectives. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the development and execution of the Aftermarket strategic plan (STRAP), embedding business model transformation initiatives to evolve from traditional transactional models to high-value service and digital solutions. Perform detailed installed base analysis, including customer capture rates, segmentation, trends, and growth drivers to identify opportunities for aftermarket parts, service, and repair revenue expansion. Plan and execute Voice of the Customer (VOC) programs to understand customer requirements, pain points, and buying journeys across aftermarket parts, service, repair, and emerging service/digital offerings. Develop and institutionalize standard work processes and playbooks to systematically identify and maximize capture of opportunities within the global equipment installed base. Spearhead business model transformation by defining, piloting, and scaling new service models (e.g., predictive maintenance, outcome-based services, and subscription offerings) and by owning the business case, requirements definition, and go-to-market strategy for a new asset management platform. Develop, maintain, and execute a comprehensive product and service roadmap that supports aggressive growth and margin expansion goals while accelerating the shift to a more resilient, service-centric business model. Lead end-to-end pricing strategy development, value-based pricing implementation, governance, and performance reporting aligned with site-specific margin expansion targets. Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Aftermarket Service Operations, Engineering, Digital/IT, Finance, and Marketing to ensure strategic alignment, resource prioritization, and flawless execution of transformation programs. Define, track, and report on key aftermarket KPIs and leading indicators, including revenue growth, gross margin, capture rate, customer retention, and adoption of new service models. Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
