The K79 General Foreman – Safety Deckplate Manager , manages, coordinates, and evaluates all injuries and near misses of Operations personnel associated with the assigned program/Area of Responsibility (AOR). This role trains both hourly and salaried employees on best‑practice safety performance, recommends and implements targeted training, corrective actions, and preventive measures to control, reduce, or eliminate safety issues, and assists in developing and enhancing training procedures, tooling, and resources that boost employee safety performance and productivity. Working closely with the leadership team, this person helps break down safety data, strategize practical action plans, and drive deck‑plate safety performance while ensuring full compliance with all technical safety requirements, including strict adherence to the shipyard Health and Safety Manual and applicable regulatory standards. The K79 General Foreman – Safety Deckplate Manager , plays a pivotal role in safeguarding our workforce while enhancing productivity. You will work directly with senior leadership, shape safety culture across the shipyard, and have the opportunity to implement innovative training solutions that make a measurable impact on crew well‑being and mission success. Must Have
BS/Apprentice + 4 years production supervisor experience OR Non-BS/Non-Apprentice with 6 years combined production supervisory experience and/or CS experience. Nice to Have
