The Senior Manager, Clinical Simulation is a key leader within the Commercial Global Education Capabilities organization, responsible for advancing clinical education through innovative simulation-based learning programs that support healthcare professionals and commercial education strategies. This role partners across global and regional functions to design, implement, and continuously improve simulation experiences that enhance procedural proficiency , product knowledge, and customer engagement. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of orthopedic education by leveraging emerging technologies, evidence-based learning methodologies, and best-in-class simulation practices. The individual will play a critical role in elevating educational outcomes, enabling safe and effective product adoption, and strengthening DePuy Synthes’ position as a trusted partner in surgeon and healthcare professional education.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the strategy, design, deployment, and continuous improvement of global clinical simulation programs aligned with commercial education objectives . Develop and manage simulation-based curricula, learning pathways, and hands-on training experiences for healthcare professionals and internal stakeholders. Partner with commercial, medical education, clinical, marketing, R&D, and regional education teams to identify learning needs and educational priorities. Drive the adoption of innovative simulation technologies, digital learning tools, and immersive training methodologies to enhance learner engagement and outcomes. Establish and monitor key performance indicators to assess the effectiveness, quality, and business impact of simulation programs. Manage relationships with external simulation partners, vendors, professional societies, and educational institutions. Ensure training programs align with applicable regulations, company policies, and educational best practices. Lead cross-functional projects and coordinate global simulation initiatives from planning through execution and evaluation. Develop recommendations for enhancing educational effectiveness through data-driven insights and learner feedback. Mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Education: Required Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare , Nursing, Life Sciences, Medical Education, Biomedical Engineering, Education, Business, or a related field. Preferred Master’s degree in Healthcare Education , Medical Education, Clinical
