Revenue Financial and Business Analyst Assistant Vice President FP&A Group – SSIM Finance Job Description This position is for an AVP level Finance Professional working in the State Street Investment Management (SSIM) central FP&A team with responsibility for all Management Reporting and Analysis, Forecasting, Budgeting and Strategic Planning for the IM business. SSIM, the asset management division of State Street, is one of the largest asset managers globally, with ~$6 trillion in AUM, including over $2 trillion in ETFs. The role will report to the Vice President and Global Head of FP&A for the SSIM Business. As a key member of the central FP&A team, the person will be responsible for the production and dissemination of management information and value-added analytics to senior IM business management, Corporate Finance and Investor Relations.
Responsibilities
Assist in all planning, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and financial analysis for the SSIM business globally Prepare various monthly and quarterly management reports and analysis including monthly presentations, quarterly IR earnings analysis, revenue and expense analytics, and other ad hoc reporting for the consolidated SSIM businesses. In partnership with SSIM Business Unit CFOs, monitor all aspects of financial tracking of strategic investments for the SSIM business Partner with Corporate FP&A, Investor Relations, Controllership leaders and Corporate Strategy teams to provide transparency on SSIM financial performance to the broader State Street organization As a key advisor to the SSIM CFO, help identify strategic risks and opportunities and recommend courses of action Design, build, modify, and update Excel and PowerPoint based financial packages. Leverage platforms such as Tableau / Alteryx / Power BI to automate reporting processes, and IBM Planning & Analytics to build and consolidate business plans Document and maintain procedures relating to reports, processes and presentations Conduct ad hoc research and in-depth variance analysis, assists supervisor and/or manager with special tasks/projects Education, Skills & Preferred Qualifications University Bachelor/Undergraduate Degree with 5+ years of experience including FP&A Collaboration, numerical, problem solving, analytical Ability to work under pressure, team player, self-starter Strong Microsoft Excel modelling and PowerPoint presentation skills a must Asset Management industry knowledge a plus Salary Range: $110,000 - $181,250 Annual The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
