Marie office is looking for a 4-month Co-op Student or Intern to join the Assurance team from May to August 2027 . This role is designed to offer a comprehensive learning experience in the field of accounting, exposing the C o-op or I ntern to various aspects of financial reporting, analysis, compliance, and teamwork. The Co-op or Intern will own the following responsibilities: Efficiently utilize technical knowledge from courses to carry out work projects and assignments Prepare and complete working papers, financial information, and compilation engagements per regulatory standards Gather evidence for Assurance and Accounting engagements Build positive working relationships with clients and effectively respond to requests and suggestions Effectively communicate with team members regarding progress updates and issues on an ongoing basis Collaborate with and support the Financial Reporting & Insights team. Your experience and education You are currently working towards a degree focused in accounting with a long-term goal of becoming a CPA You have a desire to provide outstanding client service and a commitment to teamwork You have proven leadership skills and can take initiative to seek understanding You display strong attention to detail, problem solving , analytical, and communication skills.
