Housekeeper

Job Type: Full Time Job Shift: Evenings Holiday Rotation: Department: Housekeeping The Housekeeper is responsible for the general cleanliness of the following areas: Procedure areas, patient care areas, rest rooms, offices and all other areas requiring Environmental Services support. The routine work of this employee, depending upon area of assignment, consists of sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, wiping, surface cleaning all floors, walls, ceilings, sinks, mirrors, showers, commodes, windows, and other glass areas, waiting areas and public hallways. Performs linen and trash removal. Performs terminal cleaning of isolation rooms or exam rooms as required. Moving of furniture and other heavy equipment is accomplished as directed. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Performs other related duties as assigned.
