About this role
At Johnson Controls, you will support the MEA region by helping turn orders into on-time deliveries and recognized revenue. This role is focused on order execution, backlog control, shipment coordination, escalation handling, and close collaboration with Sales, Collections, factories, planning, and logistics partners.
Role
Overview You will play a key operational role in keeping customer orders moving through the full execution cycle. By managing priorities, following up on blockers, and maintaining accurate visibility across orders and shipments, you will help support monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals. What Will You Do Drive monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets through effective order execution and backlog management. Prioritize open orders based on revenue impact, customer commitments, and delivery requirements. Monitor delivery dates, open backlog, and at-risk orders to identify delays early. Coordinate with factories, planning teams, logistics providers, and freight forwarders to support outbound shipments and delivery performance. Track shipment progress, export documentation, and shipment-related issues through to completion. Identify and escalate order, credit, and payment issues that may affect shipment release or revenue recognition. Partner with Sales Managers, Collections, and other stakeholders to remove blockers and support recovery plans for high-priority orders. Maintain accurate revenue, backlog, shipment, and supply chain reports to support business visibility and decision-making. How Will You Do It Work proactively by spotting risks early, raising issues clearly, and following through until they are resolved. Own the order flow with accountability, keeping customers, internal teams, and revenue commitments aligned. Stay close to operations by working directly with factories, logistics partners, and stakeholders to remove obstacles quickly. Use ERP data, Excel, and reporting insights to track progress, improve accuracy, and support better decisions. Collaborate across teams with candor, trust, and a shared focus on delivery, revenue, and customer commitments. What We Look For 2 to 3 years of experience in order management, supply chain, logistics, operations, or a similar support role. Knowledge of international shipping, freight forwarding, export shipments, import shipments, and Incoterms. Experience using ERP systems such as JDE, SAP, or similar platforms. Strong Excel and analytical skills, with the ability to work accurately with revenue, backlog, and shipment data. Clear communication and stakeholder management skills across Sales, Collections, factories, and logistics teams. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment. Power BI experience. If you enjoy solving operational issues, keeping shipments on track, and helping revenue move forward, we would like to hear from you.
