About this role
Come build the future of entertainment with us. Are you interested in shaping the future of how and what customers are watching? Do you want to define the next generation of streaming video at a global scale? Prime Video is a premium streaming service that offers customers a vast collection of TV shows and movies — all with the ease of finding what they love to watch in one place. We offer thousands of popular movies and TV shows including Amazon Originals and exclusive licensed content, exciting live sports events, add-on channel subscriptions, and transactional rentals and purchases. Prime Video is available in over 240 countries and territories worldwide. The teams work in a dynamic environment where innovating on behalf of our customers is at the heart of everything we do. The LATCAN (Latin America and Canada) region is one of Prime Video's most dynamic growth territories, spanning Brazil, Mexico, Emerging Latin America (+16 Spanish-speaking countries), and Canada. The LATCAN Business & Strategy team drives the operational and strategic performance of the service across these markets, partnering closely with Content Acquisition, Programming, Marketing, Finance, Product, Advertising, Finance, and Prime teams to deliver a cohesive business across a diverse set of locales. We are looking for a Business Strategy and Operations Sr. Manager to join the LATCAN team. This role sits at the intersection of business operations, strategy, and AI-driven transformation — owning the programs, mechanisms, and analytical frameworks that drive performance across the region. You will be responsible for identifying and solving business problems that span multiple teams and country organizations, structuring ambiguous challenges, and driving execution through influence. You will also lead the adoption of AI-assisted decision-making, business intelligence automation, and process transformation to accelerate how the LATCAN organization operates. This is a high-visibility, high-impact individual contributor role that requires equal comfort with strategic thinking and hands-on execution. Key job responsibilities ● Operating mechanisms: Own and continuously improve LATCAN operating mechanisms (WBR, MBR, QBR, CPR) that provide leadership with clear visibility into business performance and enable rapid course correction across all locales. ● Cross-functional programs: Identify, structure, and drive cross-business-line initiatives that deliver scale, business growth and improve P&L efficiency — including distribution partnerships, offer constructs, investment optimization, engagement programs, and monetization works-treams. ● AI & business intelligence transformation: Lead the integration of AI-assisted analysis into existing leadership cadences and business review processes. Design and deploy copilots and automation tools (e.g., business review copilots, content performance intelligence, churn & retention analytics) that translate AI capabilities into measurable business outcomes. ● Business process redesign: Identify high-value workflows across Growth, Engagement, Programming, Ads, Channels, and TVOD that can be redesigned around AI and automation to reduce cycle time and improve decision quality. ● Strategic analysis and inputs: Develop data-driven insights and recommendations on pricing, proposition evolution, content economics, and competitive dynamics specific to LATCAN locales, for our planning cycles and recurrent business reviews. ● Stakeholder coordination: Partner with Product, PV Ads, Finance, Prime, Lifecycle and other central teams on strategy-setting and prioritization for LATCAN, ensuring alignment across country teams and VP organizations. ● Performance narrative: Build simplified, business-friendly approaches to complex performance narratives — making it easier for leadership to understand what is working, what is not, and why. ● Global collaboration: Serve as a key connector across PV International and US
