The RSAF (Republic of Singapore Airforce) Materials Analyst is responsible for all material management & transactional activities to support the customer and ensure that both material and contractual requirements are met in support of both the customer and F100 fleet of engines. This position is the primary materials interface for the execution of the Blanket Ordering Agreement (BOA) and Engineering and Material Management Program (EMMP) with the RSAF customer, which supports both New & Repair parts as well as modules overhauled at the Columbus Engine Center (CEC). The key function in this role is to support the RSAF spare part sales through various Quoting, Sales Order entry, Material Management, SAP, Forecasting and Reporting activities. Strong analytical skills, ability to learn new systems quickly, capability to prioritize daily tasks, and ability to work independently under pressure on multiple projects are all critical to success in this role.
What You Will Do
Ability to interface with the RSAF Customer on all aspects of the BOA & EMMP Contracts. Material Management - Strong background and experience with forecasting, schedule alignment, logistics and capacity planning. Interface with internal and external organizations and customers to communicate and prepare for: program management reviews, successful material alignment, strategic material sourcing, material expedite, compliant international shipments, invoice tracking, and results related to the financial plan. High level understanding of customers’ critical pacing material and Pratt & Whitney supplier capacity constraints. Data Analysis – Strong ability to collect and utilize data to develop plans to solve complex problems related to the delivery of material. Must have the ability to present this data to internal and external organizations, customers, and leadership in a clear and concise manner. Review materials corresponding Export Control Classification Numbers (ECCN), assign corresponding export licenses, to ensure International Trade Compliance What You Will Learn This is a very rewarding/visible role in which the successful candidate will learn and apply these learnings across all P&W functional areas and at the same time work with a very visible International Customer.
Qualifications
You Must Have BS or BA degree 5 years of Business, Supply Chain, or Customer service experience or an Advanced degree with 3 years of Business, Supply Chain, or Customer service experience Intermediate knowledge level of SAP functions & Microsoft products, specifically Excel & PowerPoint Strong communication skills – both written and verbal Ability to travel domestic or international up to 10% US Citizenship required due to government contracts Qualifications We Prefer Project/Program Management- Ability to lead cross-functional
