Job Description
Leads the Compute modernization programs agenda , converting install-base opportunity into prioritized GTM campaigns that move customers to next-generation platforms . The role requires a deep understanding of customer innovation needs by vertical industry, of the workloads customers run, and of the surrounding ecosystem, so modernization propositions are technically credible and anchored in the platforms, software, and partners already in place . It equips sales, presales, and partners with the program structure, business cases , and integrated sales plays needed to execute, and works through the Geos to make modernization a prioritization agenda for HPE customers and prospects. Responsibilities : Builds deep workload understanding to size and target modernization opportunities. Develops deep ecosystem expertise across ISVs, operating systems, and alliance partners to shape credible value propositions. Translates install-base and refresh analytics into prioritized modernization campaigns by segment and route-to-market. Defines the modernization program structure, entry criteria, and launch plan so each campaign lands with clear ownership and timelines. Partners with GBU Enablement to develop TCO, migration, and business-case content that equips sales and partners for customer conversations. Aligns roadmaps, certifications, and reference architectures with the GBU teams to match customer needs. Equips Geo teams and channel partners with integrated sales plays, competitive positioning, and proof points. Tracks refresh conversion and modernization win rates, and reports business impact to Category leadership on a regular cadence . Leads cross-functional program team to deliver on the program business impact, supported by an agile methodology Education and Experience Required: University or Bachelors degree in Management, Marketing, Finance, or Engineering; advanced degree or MBA preferred. Typically 12+ years of professional experience with established experience in Sales or GTM roles Geo sales/GTM experience Demonstrated Management / Team leadership experience. Knowledge and Skills: Deep understanding of the HPE portfolio, Compute workloads and customer digital transformation needs Strong ability to translate technical specs into customer value proposition by industry vertical Excellent project management skills, understanding agile methodology Financial planning and modelling skills, comfortable to manage high complexity business planning and reporting. Strong communication skills at senior management internally and externally. Knowledge of promotional marketing processes and practices.
