About this role
NVIDIA has been transforming computer graphics, PC gaming, and accelerated computing for more than 25 years. Today, we’re tapping into the unlimited potential of AI to define the next era of computing. NVIDIA IT is hiring a UX Designer to improve complex internal products used across the company. The work includes enterprise workflows, AI assistants and copilots, operations tools, and existing products that need clearer flows, stronger visual hierarchy, and more consistent patterns. This is a hands-on role for a designer who can take a defined problem area, understand how people work today, and turn it into a practical, polished experience with Product and Engineering.
What you will be doing
Own UX and UI design execution for defined product areas, from requirements through build and design QA. Simplify complex, data-heavy, or fragmented workflows into clear user flows and interfaces. Create wireframes, high-fidelity designs, prototypes, and handoff specifications in Figma or other AI design tools. Partner closely with product managers and engineers to identify usability issues, make tradeoffs, and iterate quickly. Improve existing products by strengthening information hierarchy, interaction patterns, and visual consistency. Apply strong visual design principles such as layout, typography, hierarchy, color, and responsive behavior to create polished, easy-to-use interfaces. Use and contribute to shared design patterns and accessibility standards. Plan and conduct lightweight user research and usability testing, then use the findings to validate designs and guide iteration. Present work and rationale in design reviews; incorporate feedback and help move decisions forward. What we need to see: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Product Design, Visual Communication, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience. 8+ years of product or UX design experience. A portfolio showing strong interaction design and visual craft, especially for complex enterprise, internal, or operational tools. Experience working directly with engineers to ship designs in a collaborative product-development environment. Strong Figma, prototyping, design-system, accessibility, and responsive-design skills. Comfortable navigating ambiguous, fast-moving requirements and making thoughtful tradeoffs between speed, quality, and user impact. Able to explain design choices simply and constructively to technical partners. Ways to stand out from the crowd: Experience designing complex enterprise products, internal tools, or operational workflows used by technical or business users. Experience in supply chain, finance, HR, IT operations, sales operations, or other domains with complex, data-rich workflows. A strong visual-design portfolio that demonstrates modernizing or redesigning existing enterprise products while improving usability, clarity, and consistency. Experience redesigning or modernizing established enterprise products. Experience creating reusable AI-assisted design workflows, prompt templates, or skills that help scale UX practice and improve consistency across design work. NVIDIA is widely recognized as one of the world’s leading technology companies, bringing together skilled, driven people to solve complex problems at scale. This role offers the opportunity to grow design ownership, work on high-impact enterprise products, and help create thoughtful experiences alongside a collaborative team.
