In this role, you'll lead a team of laboratory professionals, oversee analytical testing activities, and help drive operational excellence across the laboratory. You'll collaborate closely with Quality, Operations, and Technical teams to support production goals, maintain regulatory compliance, and continuously improve laboratory processes and performance. This position works out of our Casa Grande, Arizona location in the Abbott Nutrition division. What You’ll Work On Lead, coach, and develop a team of laboratory technicians in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Oversee testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure product quality and timely batch release. Prioritize laboratory activities and resources to meet production schedules and business objectives. Review and approve laboratory data, documentation, and test results to ensure accuracy and compliance. Ensure adherence to GMP, quality, safety, and laboratory standards. Support investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective and preventive action initiatives. Manage laboratory equipment maintenance, calibration, and overall readiness. Drive continuous improvement efforts, including new technologies, methods, and process enhancements. Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver safe, high-quality products to our customers.

Bachelor's Degree in a science related or engineering discipline, ie chemistry, Three years management experience in the food, pharmaceutical, biotech or analytical laboratory industries is desirable Direct supervisory experience with strong people management skills Full understanding of GMP/ FDA
