Position Overview
Line Lead Supervisor is a front-line supervisor role, responsible for directly managing and developing a team of hourly associates in an Inspection Center to regularly achieve production targets. Supervisor Reconditioning opportunities include: Automotive, Body/Cosmetics, Inventory, Detail, Photo and Training.
What you will be doing
• Production Line Management: Coordinate and oversee daily operations across multi-stage production lines, ensuring safety, efficiency, and daily output targets are met.
• Cross-Functional Workflow: Manage the seamless movement of automotive inventory and materials through various phases of the production cycle, from initial technical assembly to final finishing and quality inspection.
• Team Leadership: Lead, train, and mentor a diverse team of technicians, operators, and specialists across multiple workstations, fostering a culture of high performance and accountability.
• Quality Control & Finishing: Enforce rigorous quality assurance standards, ensuring all products meet exact aesthetic, structural, and functional specifications before final documentation and release.
• Process Optimization: Monitor production pipelines to identify bottlenecks, optimize material staging, and streamline transitions between different operational zones.
• Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in and champion process improvements, workflow standardizations, and root-cause problem solving on the floor.
Preferred Qualifications
• Proven supervisory or lead experience within a high-volume manufacturing, production, or assembly environment.
• LEAN Manufacturing Experience: Working knowledge of LEAN principles (e.g., 5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma, Kanban) with a demonstrated ability to identify waste and implement continuous improvement initiatives on the production floor.
