Franciscan Health Indianapolis Campus 8111 S Emerson Ave Indianapolis, Indiana 46237 Among the Franciscan team, the Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist is responsible for operating specialized computerized x-ray equipment to produce cross-sectional images of the human anatomy. This aids radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals in diagnosing a wide variety of diseases and disorders. This position assists in training students and technologists, and performs injection procedures.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT 7am-3:30pm Days Clean, maintain, and restock examination and inventory rooms. Collaborate on patient medical issues with the physician to determine protocol and procedure. Obtain the most optimal images for physician interpretation while processing and evaluating images according to policy and protocol. Obtain and record patient identification, medical history, or test results. Review and update patient documentation in EMR and PACS. Perform venous punctures using universal precautions while administering contrast media. Practice established safety guidelines, and utilize ALARA radiation reduction tools and techniques.
Qualifications
Required Associate's Degree or Certificate Radiology Required Associate's Degree Nuclear Medicine Required Bachelor's Degree Nuclear Medicine 2 years Radiology Preferred Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association State License - . Indiana: Radiology or Nuclear Medicine Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) - NMTCB ( Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board) NMTCB(CT) American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification - .
