If so, then we have an opening for you!    Our Engineering team are looking for the right teammate to support the start-up of our first European manufacturing site in Athenry. Reporting to the Senior Engineering Manager, the Process Engineering Manager will lead and manage Engineering resources responsible for supporting day-to-day manufacturing operations, equipment performance, continuous improvement, validation, capacity expansion and operational readiness across the Applicator area. Where you come in:  You will manage and supervise resources in process development, product transfer, and process improvement to enhance product quality, decrease cost, and improve manufacturing efficiencies in the Kitting process. •    You will work together with the Manufacturing Managers to ensure the manufacturing processes meet production targets against lowest cost, according to planning and quality requirements.  Lead the identification, prioritisation and elimination of equipment and process losses through structured problem solving and continuous improvement. You will resolve escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. Drive capacity, cycle time and productivity improvements to support business growth and operational excellence objectives. You will check technical accuracy of work, ensure Design of Experiments (DOE) are appropriate, and review statistical methods used to estimate future manufacturing requirements, production and field performance data. You will provide input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. You will give input into developing the budget. You will be involved in the cross-functional team discussions and meetings You will build, guide, and enhance the engineering team to meet future needs. You will work to engage employees to gain work efficiencies and perform performance reviews. You will champion and leads change initiatives; identifies the best approach for implementing process, implementing root cause analyses and problem-solving systems such as DMAIC, A3, Lean Six Sigma across the sustaining engineering team, Product Focus Team (PFT) and beyond.
