Job Description & Summary Senior Consultant – Financial Due Diligence - Diligence as a Service (DaaS) Our Diligence as a Service (DaaS) proposition is a fast-growing, AI-native offering within our Deals (M&A) business. It supports buy-and-build clients in acquiring SME targets through rapid, focused financial due diligence, combining automated data processing and AI-driven analysis with PwC’s FDD and sector expertise . We are looking for talented and innovative professionals who want to help shape this growing team and become top advisors in FDD DaaS. The position offers room for career development and the opportunity to gain experience in a technology-enabled, innovative environment, working on the financial and operational aspects of SME acquisitions for buy-and-build clients. This is what you'll do You support buy-and-build clients with buy-side financial due di ligence on SME targets. Through close, relationship-driven collaboration with clients, you perform fit-for-purpose analysis of the key valuation inputs and identify the opportunities, risks and deal issues that matter for the investment decision. Using AI-driven analysis, automated data processing and the PwC technology platform, you focus on Quality of Earnings, Net Debt, Net Working Capital and relevant sector KPIs. You take ownership of your engagements from start to finish, with the support of a lean, senior Deals team. You will work on a high volume of focused, challenging SME acquisitions for buy-and-build clients and private equity-backed platforms. You will develop specialist sector understanding while managing your own buy-side engagements end-to-end within a lean, senior team. Furthermore; You use AI-driven analysis, automated data processing and the PwC technology platform in your day-to-day work to collect, analyse and contextualise financial and commercial data and create focused reports; You work in close proximity to clients, regularly joining management presentations, expert sessions and customer meetings, and build trusted relationships through a relationship-driven advisory approach; You manage your own buy-side diligence engagements from start to finish within a lean, senior Deals team, focusing your key value item analysis and reporting You are part of a leading (inter)national Deals practice where innovation is central, helping to advance DaaS through AI-enabled, highly automated financial due diligence. You recognize yourself in this You completed pre-university education and obtained a financial , economic, business or technical m aster’s degree ; You have at least two years of relevant working experience ; You are outgoing, entrepreneurial, results driven and highly motivated to continue learning ; You are interested in and want to learn more about mergers and acquisitions , and have an affinity with technology, AI and data analytics ; You know how to make an impact, have strong analytical skills, are curious and comfortable taking ownership and working autonomously; You have excellent skills in Dutch and English (both oral and written).
