About this role

Capital Management is part of State Street’s Global Treasury division. Principal responsibilities of the Capital Management team include developing and maintaining State Street’s corporate Capital Policy, Capital Guidelines, and Board-approved Capital Plan; end-to-end program management for the Federal Reserve’s annual Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review (CCAR); contributing capital-related content to State Street’s Recovery and Resolution Planning (RRP) activities; interpreting and developing strategies for new and pending capital related regulatory requirements; optimizing our capital structure globally;  managing capital issuance; monitoring and reporting on parent company liquidity position; actively contributing to the corporate forecast, strategy and budget cycles; managing our rating agency relationships; allocating capital to business units; and overseeing non-US capital management activities. This position will primarily support the ongoing management of State Street’s capital adequacy, while also supporting Recovery and Resolution Planning initiatives and global capital management activities.

Responsibilities

Produce monthly reporting and analysis, including State Street’s capital adequacy assessment Conduct analysis and prepare presentation materials to support ongoing capital actions, dividend payments, and other senior management / committee reporting Develop and support end‑to‑end processes on the CCAR related platforms; and FR Y‑14A and 14C report generation  Drive, coordinate, and track assigned PMO deliverables (including memo updates, attestations, policy collections, and access reviews), ensuring completion in line with agreed timelines. Prepare weekly team calendar; track deliverable status and communicate with team members Provide analytical support to drive key capital planning initiatives, including compliance with regulatory rules / expectations Assist with the development, implementation, and execution of processes, polices and governance necessary to support State Street’s Recovery and Resolution Planning efforts Engage with stakeholders and subject matter experts across the organization to facilitate regular distributions of capital from legal entities Manage the process to create core capital documents (Policy and Guidelines), leverage wDesk and execute/maintain control documentation Proactively identify and improve gaps and inefficiencies in existing processes Qualifications: 7+ years of experience in financial services with exposure to CCAR, RRP, CFA/FRM, capital management, capital forecasting, legal entity accounting or finance, or risk management; Treasury experience preferred Proven ability to proactively solve problems and improve existing processes Ability to grasp new concepts in fast-paced environment Successfully collaborates across teams  and works well independently Strong analytical skills; comfortable building models and performing ad-hoc analyses High degree of attention to detail and focus on error-free execution Minimum of Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Economics, Finance or quantitative discipline.
