Job Description
Summary: Ares is seeking an AVP, Regional Facilities Manager UK/EMEA and LATAM for our Corporate Services department. As a regional manager, the AVP oversees a wide variety of corporate real estate, facilities and hospitality services and is responsible for overall office management in our London offices (5 Locations) and our broader European office footprint (including Paris, Frankfurt, Munich, Luxembourg, Amsterdam, Milan , Dubai, Mexico and Brazil and potentially additional locations over time), reporting into the Head of International Facilities. Supervises: London Corporate Services Team Primary Functions & Essential Responsibilities: Regional Leadership & Strategy Act as the senior Corporate Services and Facilities lead across the London, EMEA and LATAM offices, working closely with Office Manager liaisons in larger regional offices. Provide positive, supportive and proactive leadership to the Corporate Services team, fostering a collaborative management culture focused on team development, performance, accountability and continuous improvement. Manage, coach and develop Associates, Analysts and other onsite team members, providing clear direction, setting expectations and supporting individual and team growth. Provide regional leadership and subject matter expertise on Facilities and Corporate Services matters, influencing stakeholders and driving alignment on priorities, standards and service delivery. Partner with senior business leaders and local office leadership to understand evolving business requirements and translate these into effective workplace, facilities and service solutions. Develop and implement consistent Corporate Services and Facilities standards across the regional portfolio, balancing a high-quality and consistent workplace experience with local business and regulatory requirements. Maintain oversight of the regional office portfolio, identifying opportunities to optimise space, service delivery, operational efficiency and cost in support of business needs. Establish and monitor appropriate operational, service and financial metrics, using data and stakeholder feedback to drive performance and continuous improvement. Daily Operations & Workplace Experience Monitor Facilities requests and ensure the team responds promptly and courteously, maintaining a strong customer service focus and clear communication with requestors. Liaise with building management teams to resolve issues relating to the physical operation of offices, including temperature, restrooms, lighting and other building-related matters. Manage relationships with office service providers, including cleaning, copiers, shredding services, office and kitchen supplies and other facilities-related vendors. Maintain appropriate levels of office and kitchen supplies, working with the Analyst and Associate to ensure timely replenishment and accurate records. Lead and work in partnership with local business leaders on seating allocation, visitor management and new hire seating coordination. Manage the office access programme and ensure all applicable compliance requirements are met. Perform regular walkthroughs of meeting rooms, common areas and kitchen spaces to ensure office standards of service, presentation and cleanliness are consistently achieved.
