Engineering Supervisor – Dry Gas Seals Repair Operations    Position Summary    Flowserve is seeking an Engineering Supervisor to lead key dry gas seal engineering and customer-support activities. The initial focus of this progressive leadership role includes ownership of the dry gas seal DCI process, customer seal reporting, and scheduling and execution of customer-witnessed teardowns.   The role offers a structured opportunity to build leadership capability, customer perspective, technical depth, and operational expertise through close collaboration with Engineering and cross-functional partners.

Own the DCI workflow for customer seals and manage customer seal reporting.    Schedule and execute customer-witnessed teardowns.   Coordinate execution with internal and external stakeholders.   Build product and test-rig knowledge through hands-on support and collaboration with Engineering partners.   Partner closely with Assembly and Test, Commercial Operations, Planning, Project Management, OEM Engineering, Aftermarket Engineering, and the Department Engineer.   Support a safe, high-quality, customer-focused operating environment.  Development Opportunities    This position is designed to provide meaningful leadership development and increasing operational exposure over time. The selected candidate will receive structured leadership, customer, and technical-development opportunities, including:   Completion of Flowserve Front Line Leader Training.    Participation in a formal mentorship program with monthly discussions focused on leadership growth, decision-making, communication, and readiness for supervisory responsibilities.    Customer and field-service exposure, including customer-site visits and collaboration with Field Service.    Hands-on learning in seal assembly, dynamic seal balancing, hysteresis testing, and dry gas seal dynamic testing.    Ongoing collaboration with OEM Engineering, Aftermarket Engineering, and operational teams.  Future Leadership Opportunities    As the organization evolves and business needs develop, additional leadership opportunities may be available beyond the initial scope of this role . These opportunities may provide broader exposure to leadership in other functional areas.   Any future expansion of responsibilities will be determined based on organizational needs, the individual’s demonstrated capability, and appropriate alignment with existing operational leadership.

5+ years of experience with mechanical sealing technology.   Strong technical aptitude and an interest in developing deeper knowledge of dry gas seal products and testing systems.  Effective communication, organization, and cross-functional coordination skills.  Ability to work successfully with Engineering, Operations, Commercial, Planning, Project Management, and customer-facing teams.  Commitment to safety, quality, customer support, and continuous improvement.

Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred.   Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred.   Experience with customer-facing technical support, Field Service, or customer-witnessed teardowns.  Experience in seal assembly, dynamic balancing, hysteresis testing, or dry gas seal dynamic testing.    What Success Looks Like    Success in this role means establishing trusted ownership of DCI, customer reporting, and teardown activities while developing independent leadership capability, technical judgment, and strong working partnerships across the organization.
