We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer to join our controls hub team. This role is located in Pune. In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: Leading the design and development of modern full-stack applications supporting sanctions screening and payment compliance workflows. Building scalable, real-time solutions capable of processing large transaction volumes while maintaining high availability and low latency. Partnering closely with Compliance, Financial Crimes, Product Management, Operations, and Architecture teams to deliver regulatory and business-critical capabilities. Developing microservices, APIs, and event-driven architectures that integrate with enterprise payment and screening platforms. Driving modernization initiatives including cloud-native development, containerization, automation, and platform observability. Ensuring software quality through robust testing, code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and engineering best practices. Providing technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams. Participating in architecture and design reviews, influencing strategic technology decisions across the Payments Enablement Platform. Supporting the delivery of solutions that satisfy regulatory obligations related to sanctions compliance and financial crime prevention. Evaluating emerging technologies and introducing innovations that improve operational efficiency and system resiliency. To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: 12+ years of software engineering experience with strong full-stack development expertise. Strong proficiency in modern programming languages such as: Java, Spring Boot, JavaScript/TypeScript, React or Angular Python (preferred) Experience designing and developing REST APIs and microservices. Strong knowledge of cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Experience with containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes. Strong understanding of database technologies including PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, or NoSQL platforms. Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
