Standard Job Description The Systems Engineering Enterprise Transformation team works closely with Aero Programs, and with LM Business Area (BA) in support of digital transformation and 1LMX initiatives to drive efficiencies and digital solutions. Through systems engineering principles and a model-based approach, we are shaping the future of system engineering through reusability and interoperability in the digital landscape. We are seeking a skilled Systems Engineer to join our team as a Systems Modeler. You will develop and maintain complex system models using various modeling tools, languages and frameworks like SysML and UAF. You will develop a multi-domain background in engineering, security, product teams, infrastructure and data will bring actionable guidance for strategic digital solutions for platform integration. Specific responsibilities of this role include: Work in a MBSE modeling environment to ensure accurate system representations and behavior. Support development of processes and architecture models, delivering artifacts and collaborating with functional teams. Develop system model management approaches and concepts as well as implementing model analysis and execution Collaborating with IT, Cybersecurity and Data Admins for tool deployments and access Basic Qualifications Cameo Experience SysML Experience Strong Systems Engineering background with hands‑on practice in requirements, analysis, decomposition, and verification. Self-driven, Personable, communicative, and committed to outperform Understanding of systems engineering principles Effective working with cross-functional teams Desired Skills Proficiency in SysML, Cameo and other MBSE related tools and skills Experience mapping and defining Objects traceability between Cameo, DOORS, and PLMs Demonstrated ability to drive closure and resolve complex, large‑scale technical issues/challenges, by risk‑manager responsibilities and digital‑engineering procurement. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work with complex systems and data; and comfortable engaging other teams and SMEs. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
