Job Description
The Opportunity: The Barbie Product Design Team is a group of passionate and inspired designers dedicated to evolving one of the world's most iconic brands through innovative product design, storytelling, and play experiences. We are looking for a Project Administrator to support the Barbie Product Design Team in El Segundo, CA. This role will be a critical member of the team, helping coordinate product samples, support milestone reviews, and ensure seamless collaboration across cross-functional partners. This person will serve as a key liaison among multiple teams, managing day-to-day communication and operational processes. We are looking for someone with excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Passion for product design and the Barbie brand is a plus. What Your Impact Will Be: Coordinate photo studio product samples, including ordering, tracking, and distribution of physical samples to external studio production partners. Organize and maintain accurate product sample inventories to ensure product integrity for photography, color reviews, and milestone presentations. Partner with the design team to prepare products and materials for milestone reviews, design packages, presentations, and style guides. Work with creative and technical execution teams to ensure product accuracy. Strong styling instincts and attention to detail are essential when preparing product samples and communicating styling direction to cross-functional partners. Collaborate closely with Product Design, Packaging, Creative Operations, Photo Studio teams, and Art Directors to coordinate product samples for photo shoots, milestone meetings, and presentations. Organize and communicate product updates, changes, and next steps across multiple stakeholder groups. Manage product sample ordering and tracking processes to support the Barbie Product Design Team, maintain organized product archives, and ensure design spaces and sample inventories are updated with the latest products and prototypes. Provide general administrative and project coordination support to ensure the smooth operation of the Product Design organization.
Qualifications
