About the Role

We are looking for a Financial Crime Analyst to join our Financial Crime Unit (FCU) Team and support international projects delivered in cooperation with colleagues from Poland. FCU Team provides consulting and operational support to global financial institutions across Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Counter-Terrorist Financing (CTF), Know Your Customer (KYC), regulatory compliance, risk management, and financial crime prevention. You will help analyze customer information, investigate potential risks, conduct research, and support clients in meeting regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

Prepare, review, and maintain customer profiles and case documentation. Conduct research using internal and external information sources. Collect, analyse, and validate customer information and supporting documentation. Identify potential risks, adverse findings, and financial crime red flags. Draw conclusions and recommend appropriate next steps based on investigation results. Escalate adverse findings to Quality Analysts, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and Team Leaders when required. Ensure compliance with internal procedures, policies, and regulatory requirements. Deliver high-quality work within agreed deadlines and performance targets.

Requirements

Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills. Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities. Interest and experience in AML, CTF, KYC, Compliance, Risk Management, or Financial Crime Prevention. Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative information and formulate evidence-based conclusions. Strong research and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. English proficiency at B2+ level (written and spoken). Degree in Economics, Finance, Law, Accounting, Applied Mathematics, Econometrics , or a related field.

Nice to Have

Previous experience in AML, KYC, Compliance, Risk Management, Banking, Financial Services, or Investigations. Knowledge of Customer Due Diligence (CDD), Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), sanctions screening, transaction monitoring, or financial crime risk assessment. Why PwC?
