Area Sales Manager, Upstate New York

Eaton’s North American Sales Division is currently seeking an Area Sales Manager to join its team. This role may be based in Amherst, NY; Clifton Park, NY; Rochester, NY; or Syracuse, NY, and will support power distribution solutions across the Upstate New York territory. This exciting opportunity is responsible for managing an established customer base, sales resources, products, and channel partners to achieve district business objectives. The role also provides leadership responsibility for developing a team of seasoned sales professionals, sales reps, and distributor channel relationships while driving sales growth and increasing market share. What you’ll do: 
 The role will be responsible for managing a customer base, sales resources, products and channels to market to achieve planned results for the district. This individual will provide leadership and development to a sales team consisting of sales professionals, sales reps and the distributor channel.  Required (Basic) Qualifications: •    Bachelor’s degree required from an accredited institution  •    Minimum seven (7) years electrical industry sales/marketing and/or engineering experience  •    Possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted driver’s license •    Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
