What you will do Lead the Driver Recruiter process in addition to development of plans and strategies to maintain a sufficient staff of Drivers to ensure continued growth in all Company fleets. Manage the driver recruiting process and ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws and Department of Transportation (DOT) rules and regulations to maintain the highest standard of safety. Achieve regional growth/hiring goals set forth by the Company leadership team. Oversee the coaching and counselling of recruiters in assigned areas to encourage employee development and performance improvement Evaluate Driver requirements and develop plans and strategies for achieving hiring goals for all Company fleets. Develop and maintain relationships with Terminal Managers and Business Unit leaders in assigned areas to resolve concerns and meet individual business needs. Assist with the new driver internal website experience and job board to ensure website is relevant and aligns with department strategic objectives. Structure training and direct data integrity of the Driver Recruiting staff to enhance skills. Direct Recruiting department for improved Driver retention to meet department and Company goals. May be responsible for various other areas within Recruiting (Dedicated, Job Creation, Coordinators, etc.). Proactively work to assist others in achieving the organization's objectives. Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience required. Must possess exceptional oral and written communication skills. Must be able to maintain, evaluate, and utilize statistical information. Must have strong problem solving skills Must be able to manage and motivate others.
