Computer Vision Data Annotation & Person Detection Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented  Computer Vision Data Annotation & Person Detection Specialist  to support the development of AI/ML-based computer vision solutions. The role involves preparing, annotating, validating, and managing large-scale image and video datasets used for training person detection and object recognition models. The ideal candidate will work closely with Machine Learning and Data Science teams to ensure high-quality training data, improve model performance, and maintain dataset integrity across various real-world scenarios.   Key Responsibilities Computer Vision & Person Detection

Prepare and manage image and video datasets for training computer vision models focused on person detection and object recognition. Perform accurate data annotation, image labeling, segmentation, and bounding box creation using annotation tools such as  CVAT . Validate annotated datasets and conduct quality assurance checks to ensure data accuracy and consistency. Identify, analyze, and correct annotation errors to improve machine learning model performance. Organize and maintain structured datasets across diverse environments, lighting conditions, camera angles, and operational scenarios. Collaborate with Machine Learning Engineers, Data Scientists, and AI teams to support model training and evaluation activities. Ensure compliance with data quality standards, annotation guidelines, and documentation requirements throughout the data lifecycle. Support continuous improvement initiatives for camera-based surveillance, smart vision, and person detection systems. Maintain dataset tracking, version control, and documentation for efficient project management. Contribute to the optimization of annotation workflows and data preparation processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field. Experience working with computer vision datasets and annotation tools such as  CVAT . Understanding of Computer Vision concepts including:

Object Detection Person Detection Image Classification Bounding Boxes Image Annotation Video Annotation

Knowledge of  Machine Learning  and  Data Science  fundamentals. Proficiency in  Python  for data processing and automation tasks. Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality. Ability to work effectively in cross-functional AI/ML development teams.

Experience with image segmentation, object tracking, or dataset augmentation. Familiarity with deep learning frameworks and computer vision libraries. Knowledge of surveillance systems, smart camera applications, or video analytics solutions. Experience working with large-scale annotated datasets for AI model training.
