Summary We have an opportunity for a Pharmaceutical Development Technician I to join our team. In this role, you will perform setup, teardown, manufacturing, and cleaning of equipment and processes under the guidance of senior technicians. You will follow policies and procedures with a strong focus on regulatory compliance, including SOPs, cGMP, and safety standards. This position supports the business needs of the organization while ensuring quality and compliance in all operations. Shift: M-F 2pm-10:30pm Location: Kansas City, MO 100% Onsite The Role Ensure cGMP compliance and maintain good housekeeping practices Follow all Catalent safety procedures and communicate necessary adjustments to address potential safety concerns Ensure proper use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) Learn all equipment and testing within the core group while maintaining high quality standards Maintain up-to-date training on equipment and site procedures Perform daily tasks to keep working areas stocked with proper materials and supplies Conduct physical characterization testing on raw and in-process materials Support sampling and packaging of in-process and finished product material Maintain active inventory of excipients and active pharmaceutical ingredients used for experimental processing Perform all other duties as assigned The Candidate Minimum Requirements High School Diploma or General Educational Development and 0+ years of relevant work experience Excellent written and verbal communication skills with internal and external customers, peers, and managers Well organized with the ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines Individual may be required to sit, stand, walk regularly and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds Preferred Skills & Background Demonstrated outstanding troubleshooting skills preferred Experience maintaining high quality laboratory documentation in accordance with applicable regulatory guidance and site Standard Operating Procedures Previous Good Manufacturing Practice experience highly preferred Why You Should Join Catalent Defined career path and annual performance review and feedback process Diverse, inclusive culture Potential for career growth on an expanding team within an organization dedicated to preserving and bettering lives Competitive paid time off plus 8 paid holidays Community engagement and green initiatives Medical, dental, and vision benefits effective day one of employment Tuition Reimbursement Catalent offers rewarding opportunities to further your career!
