About the Opportunity: The Supervisor, Compliance Field Support & Physical Security is responsible for leading and overseeing the organization's Physical Security Field Support team. This role provides strategic direction, operational oversight, and personnel leadership to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, corporate security policies, and physical security standards across the service territory. The Supervisor serves as the primary leader for physical security, risk management, threat assessments, investigations, stakeholder engagement, and security program execution. The position drives continuous improvement in physical security while ensuring effective communication, resource allocation, project management, and collaboration with internal stakeholders, regulatory agencies, and law enforcement partners. Supervisor Compliance Field Support & Physical Security - Job Responsibilities Directly supervise and develop Physical Security Field Representatives and related security personnel. Establish performance expectations, monitor productivity, and provide coaching and professional development opportunities. Prioritize and assign work activities to ensure regulatory and business requirements are met. Foster a culture of accountability, compliance, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Lead team meetings and facilitate communication of corporate security initiatives, policy changes, and compliance requirements. Ensure effective compliance with applicable North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) Standards and other regulatory requirements. Assist in development, implementation, and maintenance of security policies, procedures, guidelines, and documentation. Assist in preparation for internal and external audits, assessments, and inspections. Monitor performance metrics and identify areas requiring corrective action or process improvements. Coordinate investigation and resolution of potential compliance violations and ensure accurate documentation of mitigation efforts. Oversee physical security assessments, threat assessments, vulnerability reviews, and risk mitigation activities throughout the operating footprint. Ensure development and implementation of security strategies that address identified risks and regulatory requirements. Evaluate emerging threats and security concerns and recommend appropriate preventive measures. Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize security improvement projects and mitigation initiatives. Provide leadership and oversight for physical security investigations involving incidents, threats, compliance concerns, or criminal activity. Review investigative reports, root cause analyses, findings, and recommendations for accuracy and completeness. Ensure incidents are properly documented, tracked, and resolved in accordance with corporate procedures and regulatory requirements. Coordinate response efforts during significant security incidents and emergencies. Oversee planning, execution, and forecasting of physical security projects and compliance initiatives. Manage project priorities, budgets, timelines, and resource allocation across the assigned territory.
