To learn more visit https://www.doctorshosplaredo.com JOB SUMMARY: Reporting to the Director of Cardiopulmonary this position supervises the respiratory, cardiology, and sleep center staff and assists in directing all inpatient and outpatient services. This position also provides respiratory therapy which includes assessment, treatment, management, control, diagnostic evaluation including, PFT's, ABG lab procedures, puncture and analysis, and care of patients with deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system. Provides consultation, instruction, and/or technical direction to medical, nursing, and other staff members. Does limited cardiology diagnostic procedures.

Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A minimum of a two (2) year Associate degree or preferably a four (4) year baccalaureate degree from a school of training program by the Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC), or its predecessor the Joint Review Committee for Respiratory Therapy Education (JRCRTE) or accredited by the Commission of Accreditation of Allied Health Education Program (CAAHEP). Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience preferred Mininmum of 2-5 years of Respiratory Therapy patient population required. Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) Licensed to practice respiratory care in the state of Texas.
