The central hub for this position is in Newcastle but we welcome applicants from across the North-East.

As a senior Azure DevOps Engineer in Credera's Delivery Centre capability, you'll work as part of a close-knit team supporting one of our long-term client partnerships alongside architects, support engineers, and delivery leaders. You'll be one of the more experienced engineers in that team - leading significant areas of the platform and acting as the go-to person for your domain. The ability to work collaboratively  A drive for self-improvement and learning new technologies  Demonstrable experience in automating operations tasks with one or more scripting languages  Experience with configuration tools such as GitHub/Azure Repos/Jenkins  Experience creating and/or maintaining production software delivery pipelines using common CI/CD tools  Experience working with Azure, across both PaaS and IaaS hosting models - Azure is the platform for this role and experience of other public clouds is not required  Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform, Bicep, ARM)  The ability to lead a significant area of work to agreed time and quality with minimal direction, breaking it down and delivering it through a small team as well as with your own hands, escalating blockers promptly while proposing practical solutions  A structured, methodical approach to identifying and resolving delivery issues, comfortable with ambiguity and digging for root causes, seeking guidance where needed  Confidence working directly with client stakeholders - socialising ideas, presenting well-reasoned options, and representing Credera professionally  Associate-level Azure certification (e.g. AZ-104), with progression towards expert-level certification (e.g. AZ-400)  Established technical expertise in your domain, with code and pull request reviews that colleagues value, and a willingness to mentor more junior colleagues and implement agreed improvements  Experience using AI or Agentic techniques and willingness to adopt the use of these tools quickly  You will be required to hold active SC clearance for this role.  Desirable skills  Familiarity with configuration management
