Acting as the crucial link between key customers and multi-functional teams, you will navigate strategic negotiations, implement smart digital workflows, and work closely with advanced metallic and composite structures. We are seeking an innovative professional with a challenger mindset to drive continuous improvement and help us build the future of flight within a dynamic, inclusive environment.  HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM  Support the Programme Manager to co-ordinate day-to-day issues to ensure programme objectives and customer satisfaction are being realised. Maintain daily customer interface with responsibility for ensuring that customer requirements are clearly translated into programme objectives and understood by all functions. Negotiate with customer and strategic suppliers on schedule, contractual and other key programme issues. Identify change outside contract work scope, understand rationale and prepare any related claims. Co-ordinate inputs to programme budgets and plans to achieve budget targets. Maintain a focus on identification and resolution of key programme risks through an effective management information system supported by meaningful metrics. Deputise for the Programme Manager as required. Lead and co-ordinate multi functional teams.

ABOUT YOU

Essential Have a minimum of HNC in Engineering or a business related subject and at least 3 years’ relevant project or programme management experience within a manufacturing environment You will have an interest in deploying innovation and new ways of working. Previous experience working in cross functional/ multi functional teams. Strong facilitation skills for leading, motivating & enabling the team performance. Experience implementing solutions for automated reporting, KPI generation and planning. Be articulate and able to communicate information clearly and concisely.   Ability to work as part of a team both at site and group level Desirable Experience working in a Project environment is advantageous Experience working in cost reduction Knowledge and experience of metallic and composite structures Knowledge and experience of design toolsets.
