Location Description The Lawrence, Kansas facility is 236,000 square feet and home to about 200+ hard working team members who are proud to produce iconic pet food brands like Kibbles 'n Bits®. Lawrence is a college town and the home to both the University of Kansas and Haskell Indian Nations University with Kansas State University about 85 miles away. The city is known for a thriving music and art scene and is also the home of the University of Kansas athletic teams.

Processing Operator Pay Rate: $27.95 per hour   The Post Consumer Brands facility in Lawrence, KS operates on a 24/7 production schedule. Team members will work: D Shift - Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and every other Friday 6:00pm-6:00am Shift premium - $1.50 per hour Responsibilities   In the Processing Operator role, you will: Operate and maintain processing equipment to optimize efficiency and to reduce/eliminate downtime Perform accurate, timely collection of data and product samples  Maintain a clean, sanitary and orderly work area to ensure employee and food safety Qualifications The successful candidate (s) for this role will have the following qualifications: Possess a high school diploma or a GED Ability to comply with a strict attendance policy Desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Ability and willingness to communicate with cross functional teams Experience in food manufacturing preferred Physical Job Demands:  Lift: Floor to Knuckle 55 lbs. occasionally 12” from floor to Knuckle 55 lbs. occasionally Push/Pull: Push (static force) 50 lbs. occasionally Pull (static force) 50 lbs. occasionally Standing Constantly Walking Constantly Climbing Stairs Occasionally Reaching (forward) Frequently Manual Dexterity Constantly
