About this role

ROLE

SUMMARY The Senior Manager, Patient Affordability Analytics is responsible for supporting the analytics and insight development that inform Pfizer's patient affordability and copay programs. This role will be integral in helping develop and maintain the data, models, and dashboards that usher in confident decisions to implement innovative patient affordability programs and tactics that positively impact the patient journey. An individual with a strong analytical ability is a must, but this should be accompanied by hands-on copay and affordability program experience, strong business acumen, and communication skills. The position will work closely with the Pfizer Patient Services, Patient Affordability team and will interact with cross-functional partners from the Pfizer digital, finance, legal, compliance, and brand teams. The role will work across all therapeutic areas, including but not limited to immunology, oncology, specialty care, and primary care. A successful candidate brings not just the ability to run an analysis, but the judgment to know which analysis matters, why a program is underperforming, and what to recommend next — identifying new opportunities for program innovation and translating findings into the revenue-and-savings narrative that resonates with senior stakeholders.

ROLE

RESPONSIBILITIES This role is accountable for supporting the delivery of data driven insights for patient services programs and will partner with functional leads to develop solutions that propel each brand’s strategic priorities. Serve as a key analytics partner to the Patient Affordability team, supporting leadership on program strategy and decision-making. Support program optimization modeling — quantifying the impact of copay and affordability business rule changes (benefit design, eligibility, accumulator/ maximizer mitigation) on program cost, patient access, and net sales. Develop OpEx and GTN forecasting models to support program budgeting and planning. Translate primary and secondary claims data into clear, executive-ready insights that identify what is and isn't working across programs. Proactively surface new opportunities for program innovation and competitive differentiation, rather than waiting for questions to be asked — bring findings forward with a recommended course of action. Build and maintain program performance dashboards and metrics that give partners a consistent, trusted view of affordability program health. Frame all analysis and recommendations in terms of revenue impact and savings delivered, so findings are immediately usable in business reviews and investment conversations. Partner with copay vendors and cross-functional teams to ensure data quality, program compliance, and conformity to rules and regulations. Take ownership of ad hoc analytical requests from brand and access partners, exercising independent judgment on approach and prioritization.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact. Bachelor's degree required. 6+ years of experience in copay, affordability, patient support services, or access and reimbursement analytics. Demonstrated experience analyzing copay claims and longitudinal patient data (e.g., IQVIA, CoverMyMeds, Relay Health, or similar LAAD/copay/eVoucher data sources). Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint required to build and interpret program models and executive-ready presentations, along with working knowledge of visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau. SQL, SAS, Python, R, or similar query experience is a plus but not the focus of the role. Understanding of cost adjustment programs (accumulators, maximizers, alternative funding plans) and how they impact copay program design and Gross-to-Net (GTN)
