To learn more about playing for Team Amcor, visit www.amcor.com | LinkedIn | YouTube Purpose: Work closely with the plant personnel and the multisite Quality Manager to facilitate daily quality functions.  Ensure procedures are followed and product testing is performed in a manner that will enhance the delivery of quality product to the customer.

Follows all safety/quality rules and absolutes to foster the safety/quality culture in the plant. Tests quality, packaging, labeling specifications on product coming off the end of line for accuracy. Trains and coaches operators and packers on the line to be able to understand test methods and specifications to ensure accuracy and comprehension. Coordinates production inspection activities to ensure all lines are tested during the manufacturing process. Works closely with the Warehouse and Production teams to identify and implement continuous improvement projects to drive cost savings. Oversees the quality management system and conducts internal audits Place non-conforming finished product on hold.  Coordinate the recheck and disposition. Maintain test equipment in accordance with set standards.  Train others as required. Manages all quality reporting, retain program, and gage-list calibration. Test in process, finished, and return products as requested. Assist in developing procedures and acceptance limits. Work with Purchasing to address any vendor concerns Supervises the shift when the production and warehouse management team is not present. Other duties as assigned Qualifications Must have good speaking skills.  Able to edit documents for accuracy including spelling and grammar.
