TITLE Sandwich Making Advanced Technical Resource LOCATION Scottsville, Kentucky REPORTS TO Dylan Read KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Able to assume responsibility for manufacturing consumer foods in compliance with all food safety, quality, regulatory, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) requirements. Able to support company and site safety policies, perform work safely, recognize unsafe working conditions, coach peers, and suggest improved safety standards as appropriate. Able to operate, maintain, clean, change over, and sanitize production equipment while following and improving documented operational, maintenance, and sanitation standards. Able to inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical, instrumentation, controls, automation equipment, and related software. Able to execute and improve preventive maintenance activities, including lubrication, inspections, maintenance work plans, and timely creation and completion of work orders. Able to learn and apply predictive and condition-based maintenance tools, including vibration analysis, thermography, oil analysis, ultrasound, and other emerging reliability technologies. Able to collect, interpret, document, and communicate equipment-condition data to identify degradation, prioritize corrective work, prevent failures, improve asset health, and reduce reactive maintenance. Able to develop and improve condition-monitoring routes, preventive maintenance tasks, asset-care standards, and equipment-health plans. Able to demonstrate proficiency in operation and troubleshooting of the following: Power Distribution Studio 5000 or Logix 5000 platform hardware and software Drives and Motion Control FactoryTalk ME and SE Ethernet/IP Control Network Food Manufacturing and Utility Instrumentation Able to maintain and properly operate electrical testing equipment. Able to utilize drawings, prints, schematics, and instruction manuals to determine the proper steps for preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. Able to adhere to company drawing and documentation standards. Able to receive turnover from the previous shift, including emails, downtime events, equipment outages, open defects, centerline concerns, and ongoing technical-support needs. Able to review daily planning and scheduling, work orders, while-down work, CIL activities, preventive maintenance, and mechanical or electrical follow-ups. Able to participate in Daily Direction Setting and review prior-shift downtime outages and the top sources of downtime first-hand to validate conditions and plan support for the current shift. Able to conduct line health checks during the first and second half of the shift, verifying tools and shadow boards, identifying defects, checking visual controls and centerlines, correcting issues when possible, and documenting follow-ups for the oncoming shift. Able to complete toolbox checks in Proficy and prepare reliability grams or other technical communications as needed. Able to communicate technical callouts to the Team Leader and facilitate an effective shift pass-down covering defects, top downtime events, centerlines, and ongoing issues. Able to review weekly top losses with Team Leaders, Area Leaders, Plant Engineering, Equipment Owners, or other appropriate partners and drive issues to root cause. Able to review and update 90-day-plan technical countermeasures and assist PM/AM Coordinators with developing the next week’s work plan. Able to update the technical portion of the monthly team scorecard with appropriate support and communicate results to the team. Able to complete monthly audits of the Technical Document Library using the applicable Tech Doc Audit DMS guidance. Able to use continuous-improvement tools, including breakdown elimination and root cause analysis, to eliminate losses and document, communicate, and implement corrective and preventive actions. Able to own one or more technical, safety, quality, or reliability systems and lead projects that improve safety,
