WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH You’ll join our Local HR team in Bain’s Global Business Services (GBS) office in Warsaw. Working closely with the team, you’ll support day-to-day HR operations and gain hands-on exposure to the full employee lifecycle. This internship is an opportunity to build broad HR experience while helping us deliver a positive employee experience for our colleagues. WHERE YOU’LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM As an HR Intern, you’ll support a range of activities across employee onboarding and offboarding, HR administration, employee engagement, benefits, documentation, and HR projects. This is a paid internship for a minimum of six months , with the possibility to extend. The position is estimated at 40 hours per week, and a flexible arrangement can be considered. We work in a hybrid model, with two days per week in the Warsaw office. During your first three months, you’ll be expected to work primarily on site. This initial period will give you the opportunity to learn the role, get to know the firm and our ways of working, and build strong connections with the team. WHAT YOU’LL DO You’ll support the Local HR team across several areas, including: • Assist with onboarding and offboarding activities, including employee communication, documentation preparation, and logistics coordination. • Support day-to-day HR administration. • Help maintain HR dashboards, trackers, and reporting tools. • Support employee events, wellbeing initiatives, and engagement activities. • Assist with internal HR communications and employee information campaigns. • Help coordinate training sessions, workshops, and HR-related meetings. • Participate in ongoing HR projects and operational initiatives. • Assist with the administration of employee benefits and wellbeing programs, including enrolment, documentation collection, and employee communication. • Prepare, organize, and maintain HR documentation. • Help update HR guides, process documentation, and employee resources. Along the way, you’ll gain exposure to end-to-end employee lifecycle processes, HR administration and compliance fundamentals, employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives, HR systems and reporting, and collaboration with local and global HR stakeholders. ABOUT YOU • You have a university degree or are currently studying. • You have strong written and spoken Polish and English skills. • You’re proactive, eager to learn, and interested in developing your HR experience. • You have strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • You communicate effectively and have good interpersonal skills. • You can handle confidential information responsibly. • You’re comfortable using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint. • Previous internship, volunteer, student organization, or administrative experience is a plus. • An interest in process improvement, digital tools, and HR operations is an advantage.
