About this role

DRW is a diversified trading firm with over 3 decades of experience bringing sophisticated technology and exceptional people together to operate in markets around the world. We value autonomy and the ability to quickly pivot to capture opportunities, so we operate using our own capital and trading at our own risk.

Headquartered in Chicago with offices throughout the U.S., Canada, Europe, and Asia, we trade a variety of asset classes including Fixed Income, ETFs, Equities, FX, Commodities and Energy across all major global markets. We have also leveraged our expertise and technology to expand into three non-traditional strategies: real estate, venture capital and cryptoassets.

We operate with respect, curiosity and open minds. The people who thrive here share our belief that it’s not just what we do that matters–it's how we do it. DRW is a place of high expectations, integrity, innovation and a willingness to challenge consensus.

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our accounting team supporting a growing investment platform. This person will own day-to-day fund accounting and NAV oversight for a portfolio of US and UK-domiciled vehicles, working alongside our finance, treasury, back-office, and business management teams. Our portfolio spans listed and OTC derivatives, digital assets, and other investment strategies, so you will work across multiple currencies, jurisdictions, fund structures, and instrument types. This is a high- visibility, hands-on role with real ownership over a defined set of funds, supported by an experienced team.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in accounting - CPA preferred, not required. - 4–6 years of hedge fund accounting experience gained at a fund administrator, investment manager, or fund. - Hands-on NAV preparation and review experience across a book of funds, including reconciliations, fee calculations, capital allocations, and investor reporting. - Experience accounting for digital assets is a strong plus — particularly derivatives (perpetuals, listed and OTC options), on-chain reconciliation, staking, and digital asset valuation considerations. - Practical experience accounting for derivatives, including margin, collateral, and settlement. - Exposure to alternative investment strategies
