Job Description
This role has multiple levels, open to candidates with [2- 3+ years of related mortgage experience]. The successful candidate will be hired for the level of the position that aligns with their experience. Please note that the salary range provided corresponds to the lowest level of the position posted. Responsible for providing system, operational, and procedural support for mortgage personnel across a broad range of mortgage applications and business processes. Investigates and resolves complex user issues, coordinates Incident management activities, performs controlled system and data maintenance, and serves as a liaison between business partners, technology teams, and third-party vendors. Analyzes operational trends, develops and maintains policies and procedures, where applicable, recommends process improvements, and communicates changes that impact the mortgage business line. Provides subject matter expertise on mortgage systems, business processes, and application integrations to support operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and a positive end-user experience. Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience - Typically two or more years of mortgage or related experience Preferred Skills / Experience • Thorough knowledge of mortgage originations, fulfillment, and related operational workflows. • Strong understanding of mortgage applications and supporting technologies, including loan origination systems, imaging systems, customer-facing portals, workflow tools, and case management platforms. • Experience investigating operational issues, managing Incidents, identifying root causes, and coordinating resolution across business, technology, and vendor partners. • Ability to analyze business processes and recommend procedural, training, and system improvements. • Experience developing, interpreting, and communicating policies, procedures, job aids, and operational guidance. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to assess risk and determine appropriate solutions. • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. • Proven customer service and relationship management skills with a focus on delivering an exceptional end-user experience. • Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including the ability to translate technical information into business-friendly language. • Experience working with case management, Incident management, and ticketing systems. • Proficient Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, and related collaboration tools. • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional business partners, technology teams, and external vendors.
