Program Quality Engineer Asc - E1

Standard Job Description 
 Manages the implementation and execution of program quality requirements. Responsible for all aspects of Quality across the programs life-cycle including proposals, contract review, start-up, development, transition to production, production and support. Requires an understanding of quality tasks across quality functions including hardware, software, systems and suppliers/subcontractors, and customers. Proficient in company policies. Partners with program teams as the Quality Lead for design, development, production and mobilization phases of program execution. Performs contract reviews and flows down contract quality requirements to quality team, including suppliers. Establishes quality budgets and cost commitments. Serves on the program area Risk and Opportunity Review Boards; nominates risks and opportunities. Ensures Quality Assurance Plans are documented and current and implemented. Schedules and ensures assessments of program (e.g. quality audits). Participates in independent program reviews to understand risks and drive Return to Green plans. Maintains a DCMA/Customer quality relationship. Establishes and maintains effective Quality Program Team business rhythm. Basic Qualifications 
 Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in technical discipline (e.g. engineering field) or equivalent discipline, or experience (e.g. math, physics, software, etc.). Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications. Ability to support weekend and 2nd shift software test runs occasionally during Run for Record Testing. Possess a strong use of computer systems related to documenting and tracking work instructions and non-conformances in conjunction with office suite.  Ability to achieve and maintain certification in technical skills as required by the role. US Citizenship required. Desired Skills 
 Demonstrated knowledge of nonconformance handling and disposition. Hardware Quality Engineering related experience in a production environment. Software Engineering or development experience Ability to work in an environment with evolving requirements and dynamic schedules Experience in Design/Test Readiness/Manufacturing Readiness Reviews Knowledge of Quality Systems and Processes Knowledge of SAP operating systems, Automation Framework, EPDM, P2P, and VECAMS Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $65500.00 - $121700.00 At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
