Senior Software Development Engineer, Salesforce Success Central

Salesforce Success Central (SFSC) Engineering team builds and operates services and infrastructure that improve the return on investment in Amazon's enterprise-wide Salesforce deployments. We are a tight-knit team of builders who own systems end-to-end: from real-time log ingestion and security monitoring, to fine-grained access control, to the next generation of AI-powered agentic security tooling. As a Sr SDE on SFSC Engineering, you will own complex, ambiguous problems end-to-end: from architecture and design through implementation, deployment, and operational excellence. You will mentor engineers, influence technical direction across teams, and build systems that operate at scale with high availability. This team is for you if - - You want to be part of a small collaborative team that builds services and infrastructure that enable and secure Amazon's entire Salesforce fleet. - You are passionate about developing products that scale and perform at high availability and have the customer obsession to build solutions for Amazon fleet. Key job responsibilities - Responsible for end-to-end design, development, test, implementation of complex problems including planning, risk, trade-offs. - Work with engineers, service and security teams to define and deliver complex features. - Guide and ensure quality of architectural decisions across products and teams. - Help establish the long-term success strategy for team-owned systems, development best practices, and operational excellence processes. - Ensure existing platforms and services remain fully supported while contributing to the creation of next generation solutions. - Provide technical direction and mentor junior team members.
