WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH This role sits within Nike’s GC Local Creation organization and reports to the Senior Manager, Costing & Sourcing, Local Creation GC. The Costing & Sourcing team plays a critical role in enabling consumer-right, locally relevant products by connecting product ambition with cost, margin, manufacturing feasibility, supplier capability, quality, and speed. You will work closely with Product Line Management, Design, Product Development, Technical Development, Materials, Finance, Merchandising, Planning, Product Integrity, Global Sourcing, and factory partners. You will support seasonal product creation by providing accurate cost analysis, identifying cost opportunities and risks, and helping teams make informed product and commercial decisions.
WHO WE ARE
LOOKING FOR We are looking for a highly analytical, collaborative, and results-oriented Senior Costing Analyst to support Nike’s Costing & Sourcing capability for Greater China Local Creation. The ideal candidate brings strong product costing knowledge, a solid understanding of materials and manufacturing processes, and the ability to turn complex cost data into clear insights and recommendations. They are detail-oriented while maintaining a broader view of consumer value, product intent, quality, speed, and margin. The successful candidate is comfortable working across multiple product teams and seasonal timelines. They communicate clearly, challenge assumptions constructively, solve problems with cross-functional partners, and operate effectively in a fast-paced and evolving matrix environment. Key requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Supply Chain, Product Development, Textile or Footwear Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Typically 5+ years of relevant experience in product costing, cost engineering, manufacturing, product development, sourcing, finance, supply chain, or a related field within footwear, apparel, accessories, sporting goods, or consumer products. Strong understanding of product creation and commercialization, including materials, construction, manufacturing processes, labor, overhead, productivity, duty, and other key cost drivers. Demonstrated ability to analyze cost sheets and large data sets, validate assumptions, identify variances, and translate findings into clear recommendations. Strong numerical, financial, and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail and data accuracy. Ability to balance target cost, consumer value, design intent, quality, speed, margin, and manufacturing feasibility. Experience working with factories, vendors, product teams, and cross-functional stakeholders in a matrix organization. Strong communication, collaboration, organization, and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and seasonal deadlines. Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools. Experience with costing systems, product lifecycle management systems, or data visualization tools is preferred. Professional working English is required. Mandarin capability for day-to-day collaboration with local partners is strongly preferred. Travel to supplier and partner locations may be required. WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON You will support seasonal costing execution and cost analytics for GC Local Creation, helping product teams deliver locally relevant products with strong consumer value, quality, speed, and commercial impact. In this role, you will: Support the Senior Manager, Costing & Sourcing in executing the GC Local Creation costing strategy, seasonal priorities, governance, tools, and performance metrics. Develop, review, and maintain accurate product cost estimates and cost sheets across key product creation and commercialization milestones. Analyze material, component, construction, labor, overhead, productivity, duty, and manufacturing inputs to understand cost drivers and validate factory submissions. Partner with
