About this role
Rewards Consultant – Italy About the Role We are looking for a Rewards Consultant to join Aon’s growing Rewards team in Italy, guided by the Rewards Business Leader. In this role, you will work on Advisory projects such as comprehensive compensation planning, job framework, and incentive building. You will also support Data Solutions assignments involving compensation surveys, databases, and market benchmarking. You will assist in the delivery of client projects, supply to analysis and build work, and provide day‑to‑day assistance to clients using Aon’s compensation surveys and databases. This role suits someone experienced in Rewards, Compensation & Benefits, or HR consulting. It provides a chance to develop deep technical expertise and grow within Aon’s Data Solutions and Advisory business in Italy. You will collaborate closely with Aon’s Italian Human Capital leadership and the broader EMEA Advisory and Data Solutions teams to bring the best of our data, tools and methodologies to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery – Advisory Contribute to supporting the progress of our rewards advisory projects in Italy, working under the direction of the Rewards Business Leader and senior team members. Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis on topics such as market benchmarking, pay structures, total rewards strategy, job architecture and incentive design. Support the preparation of client presentations, reports and workshops, ensuring high quality, clearness and consistency with Aon methodologies. Participate in client meetings to present analyses, collect requirements and document decisions and next steps. Project Delivery - Data Solutions & Survey Work Support the implementation of data consulting projects including survey build, data validation, analysis and reporting. Assist Italian clients in using our compensation surveys and databases: onboarding new participants, explaining methodologies and benefits, and answering day‑to‑day queries. Prepare market benchmarking analyses and dashboards, translating survey data into clear insights and recommendations for HR and C&B partners. Support initiatives to grow participation in Aon’s local compensation surveys and to improve the quality and relevance of the Italian database. Client Support & Relationship Management Act as a day‑to‑day contact for selected clients on data and advisory projects, ensuring timely and accurate responses to questions and requests. Build strong working relationships with HR and Compensation & Benefits professionals at client organisations, demonstrating reliability, integrity and technical credibility. Support the Team Leader in preparing proposals, credentials and RFP responses by providing analysis, materials and case studies. Collaboration & Internal Contribution Work closely with colleagues in Italy and across EMEA, sharing knowledge, tools and guidelines in Rewards, Data Solutions and Advisory. Support the development and continuous improvement of templates, tools and frameworks used in project delivery. Support internal initiatives such as thought leadership, marketing materials, events and webinars on Rewards and pay topics. Actively seek feedback and coaching from more senior team members to accelerate your development and broaden your exposure to different project types.
Required Experience
2–5 years of professional experience in Rewards / Compensation & Benefits, HR consulting, or a related analytical HR role (e.g. C&B analyst, HR analytics). Exposure to compensation surveys, market benchmarking, grading/job evaluation, or pay structure design is strongly preferred.
