Missile Tracking Systems Engineer (Space Force) (Sign-On Bonus Available)

Basic Qualifications Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense TOP SECRET security clearance with the ability to obtain a TOP SECRET with Polygraph eligibility is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Responsibilities for this Position Responsibilities for this Position As a Missile Tracking Systems Engineer for the US Space Force Space Development Agency (SDA) Ground, Management and Integration (GMI) program, you will be a key member of a cross-functional team responsible for developing and deploying state-of-the-art ground operational systems for the Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture (PWSA). You will be part of an elite team providing the evolution, expansion, integration, testing and maintenance of the ground entry points, operations centers, enterprise test and checkout capabilities and infrastructure management, including all development, systems engineering, integration, testing, maintenance, and site support.

Systems engineering that includes decomposing requirements into architecture, internal and external interfaces, and system design behaviors Pre-planned or ad-hoc scheduling and situational awareness of satellites and payloads capabilities to track missiles Analysis and fusion of missile tracking data provided by satellite to the ground for processing and rapidly providing and disseminating the information Identifies opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation

Technical Skills

Prefer recent designing and developing systems that can solve complex problems using algorithms Prefer recent algorithm development and tuning for specific mission parameters
