As a Senior Manager - Tax, you will play a pivotal role in assisting private companies with their business advisory needs, focusing on tax compliance and planning to enhance operational efficiency. Within our Tax practice, you will have the opportunity to guide clients through the entire business life cycle, from inception to transition, addressing key issues such as wealth management and compliance. Your role will involve designing and implementing personalized service plans for privately owned entities, entrepreneurs, and high net worth individuals, helping them navigate the complexities of today's global landscape. As a Senior Manager, you will leverage your skills to lead large projects and innovate processes, focusing on achieving results and maintaining operational excellence. Responsibilities - Leading tax compliance and advisory projects for private companies, focusing on operational efficiency and strategic growth - Developing and implementing customized service plans for privately owned entities, entrepreneurs, and high net worth individuals - Managing client relationships and community involvement to identify and address client needs effectively - Overseeing project workflow, budgets, billing, and collections to optimize resource utilization - Supervising teams to foster an atmosphere of trust and promote diverse views for continuous improvement - Providing timely and meaningful feedback to staff to enhance performance and development - Innovating through new and existing technologies to streamline processes and reduce engagement hours - Navigating complex tax issues and providing consulting services for non-publicly traded companies - Initiating and leading open conversations with teams and stakeholders to build trust and drive project success - Upholding the firm's code of ethics and business conduct while delivering quality results to clients What You Must Have - At least a Bachelor's degree in the following field of study: Accounting or Chartered Accountant or equivalent (such as ICAEW / ACCA / MICPA-CAANZ / CPA Australia) - At least 8 years of experience - Oral and written proficiency in English required - Experience in building, maintaining, and utilizing networks of client relationships and community involvement; - Proven ability to identify and address client needs; - Demonstrated leadership as a business advisor, including developing new relationships, making introductions to sell new services with a "One Firm" service mindset; What Sets You Apart - In Tax, Manager, Senior Manager, and Director roles prefer candidates who hold an active primary credential, such as one of the following: (1) US CPA or foreign equivalent (2) US Enrolled Agent in good standing with an appropriate regulatory body (3) a firm-approved secondary credential - Demonstrating advanced
